Ich mochte das gegenseitige Teasing sehr und wie die Gefühle immer stärker wurden. Minerva ist nach und nach aufgeblüht und gab Kontra. Es gab einige lustige Szenen. Abzug für Ende, das ging mir etwas zu schnell plötzlich. Außerdem fand ichs schade, dass Minerva ihre Forschung nicht präsentieren konnte (auch wenn es der damaligen Realität entspricht, dass Frauen von der Wissenschaft ausgeschlossen wurden).

This was typical, awesome, funny yet deep Tessa Dare. This is the story of Minerva and Colin, whom we met in the previous book. I was really excited for their story. Minerva is a prickly geologist, always buried in books and talking about rocks meanwhile Lord Payne is a rake, who would very much like to get out of Spindle Cove. His wishes are answered when Minerva exposes to him to perfect plan : he will accompany her to a geologist meet in Sctoland.Colin isn't sold on the idea but the trip ends up taking place, bringing our two heroes together. I really liked it, I loved how Tessa dealt with both characters' flaws and fears, how they really complemented each other, but not in the preconcieved way. Strong book, really good series so far!!
