Ich hab gelacht, geweint und geschrien vor Wut - dieses Buch hat mich emotional komplett auseinandergenommen. 😭♥️ Der Trope? Second Chance Romance - und zwar mit richtig viel Gefühl. Die Charaktere sind so echt und tiefgründig, ich wollte sie teilweise einfach nur umarmen (oder schütteln!). Der Schreibstil? Poetisch, intensiv, wunderschön. Ich habe jede einzelne Seite geliebt und konnte nicht aufhören zu lesen. Ich sag's, wie's ist: Lest dieses Buch! Sofort! Emery Rose hat hier wirklich ein Meisterwerk geschaffen. Spice-Level: 2 von 5 - dezent, aber spürbar. 🌶️

if you like summer vibes, sports romance, age gap, forbidden love and soulmates, you should definitely read this book!! To be honest I'm still so attached to the world, I felt so many emotions, which made it even harder to say goodbye to them. Emery's writing style is truly beautiful and I highly recommend reading it if you want an emotional and enjoyable summer read. Remy is a very strong young woman. She and her twin brother are very close as their mother was never really there for them. The relationship of both is fantastically beautiful and only to be wished, they would do everything for each other and never let the other one down. Remy is beautiful, clever and one thing she truly hates are goodbyes. Goodbyes are hard for her especially because of her past, it is difficult for her to say goodbye to things or people, which is why she tries not to get attached. Shane is hot, a passionate surfer and obsessed with Remy. He would do anything for his loved ones, especially his father is like his best friend. Shane lost his mother at a young age, which is why he feared close and binding relationships until he met and directly was fascinated by Remy. The two of them had by no means an easy relationship. The year difference of 7 years gave both of them not only a hard time in the beginning but also they had to keep their relationship a secret for the beginning. Nevertheless, i do not doubt that both are destined for each other. Both would do literally anything for each other and would always be there for each other. Their love is sincere, beautiful and unique. To see how both have found each other again was not only very relieved but also very beautiful to be part of. I just love both of them so much, both deserve the world and so much more.
