I like survival stories and I have a thing for one of the mc's getting in charge, being protective and taking care of the other. So this was right up my alley and I really enjoyed it, especially the first half. But it got a bit messy after that. The book would have been even better if the romance took a slower pace and there was less sex. And without the annoying wolf pup! Seriously, I've never been so irritated by an animal before. And it was so pointless. I felt like the wolf was only there because something had to happen and the author needed a reason for August to do stupid things. Anyway, I still liked most of the story!
