Buddy read: Mari Was it better than book 3? Sure. Was it as good as book 1 and 2? Not at all. While this one had more action than the one before, it was still pretty boring and not giving much at all. The gods kept bickering like toddlers. Odin was annoying per usual and all Aria and “her gods” could talk about when it ever got a bit personal was: her little brother. And then there was the smut that wasn’t any smut. It was just … there and a waste of pages and time. I have to say, all I feel is being glad that it’s over.
