I liked this one much more than book one, but I just can't give more than 2 stars. What I liked was... the scene where she first meets Logan. It was immediately clear he was lying about being a friend of Justus, but while it's such a cliché scene, I still love scenes like these, where she talks happily on the phone about him, just to get told Justus doesn't know him. Such a goosebumps-inducing moment, love it! I also generally just like Logan. He's the first guy who actually seems to be completely protective of her, not just when it suits him. I'm not into the whole alpha shifter thing (well he's not a shifter, but he behaves like the guys in other shifter books), but he protects her and she needs that, with how she's getting kidnapped every 3 pages. What I didn't like about him was, how ridiculous it felt that he immediately was into her. She already has a harem of men, but yeah, of course, her KIDNAPPER falls for her immediately too, while still wanting to deliver her to his employer, until he doesn't. Also, I'm still bothered by everyone being misogynistic. And I'm a little sad Simon clearly doesn't seem to be the MMC, as I liked him most in book 1. But I really hope she won't jump around more between guys in the next books. Kinda feel like that might be the case though... I should probably also mention that the FMC is extremely stupid. If her enemies wouldn't want to use her alive, she would've died a thousand times through her stupidity already. Can't wait to watch her being stupid and getting kidnapped in the next book.
