5,05✨ - Obwohl nun schon ein paar Tage vergangen sind, seit ich das Buch beendet habe, lässt mich die Geschichte einfach nicht los. Die Geschichte war so unglaublich atmosphärisch und ihre Charaktere so authentisch, dass ich mir noch viele Seiten mehr gewünscht hätte. Auch wenn es dem Klappentext nach wie eine YA-Story klingt, werden in dieser Geschichte komplexe und wichtige Themen behandelt, sodass ich sie jedem Erwachsenen ans Herz legen kann. Es ist eine Geschichte über Familie, Freundschaft, Loyalität, Mut, Glaube und Selbstfindung. Das Ende hat mich sowohl hoffnungsvoll als auch traurig zurückgelassen. Fazit: Eine tief berührende Geschichte über vier Waisenkinder, welche auf ihrer Suche nach einem "Zuhause" die Grausamkeiten und Schönheit des Lebens kennenlernen und den/die LeserIn auf eine emotionale Achterbahn mitnehmen, die ereignisreich und doch zugleich ganz ruhig daherkommt. Eine klare Leseempfehlung ❤️!
