This is peak Pucking Wrong energy: Where the men love like they’re signing lifetime contracts and the heroines are just trying to emotionally keep up. Subtle? Never. Entertaining? Absolutely.

The Pucking Wrong Man blends obsessive hockey romance with an unexpected ballet backdrop, which I liked way more than I thought I would. Anastasia lives in a world of discipline, art, and control, which makes her the perfect contrast to Camden, whose emotional approach is basically: full speed, no brakes, feelings first, consequences never. Their relationship builds on intensity rather than subtlety — Camden doesn’t fall, he commits like it’s a legally binding contract. What really elevates the story is how Anastasia grows into her own strength instead of just being swept along by his devotion. The ballet element adds elegance and pressure, showing her ambition outside the romance (finally, hobbies!). And then there’s Michael. Awful. Walking red flag. Human equivalent of stepping on gum. I hated him with dedication, which made his downfall deeply satisfying, poetic justice delivered, no notes. Overall, I loved the drama, the obsession, and the art-meets-chaos dynamic.
