Such a wonderful story, couldn't put it down. I'm intrigued and can't wait to find out more about Hammer and the Palace. Will Hammer and Josie end up together?

This story had me captivated from beginning to end. The hook is great, the story quick witted and suspenseful, the characters are perfectly balanced! It was such a lovely relief to follow a young female protagonist who doesn’t make stupid choices or is overly irritable. I‘m obsessed with the world C.J. Archer has created here and I cannot wait to read more!!
