Eine Romcom mit Hexen?🔮
Die Story ist genauso wie im ersten Teil eher seicht und gut für nebenbei. Die Charaktere sind witzig und sympathisch. Die Halloween vibes sind gegeben und mehr gibt es da eigentlich auch nicht mehr zu sagen. 🤷🏼♀️😄 Mehrwert hat es irgendwie nicht, aber manchmal will man sich ja auch nur berieseln lassen. 😄
Es war echt toll geschrieben wie auch The Ex Hex, ich liebe Gwen und war sehr glücklich das sie auch ein Buch bekommt. Und es war einfach toll, es war lustig und spannend und es war einfach ein toller Roman. Ich kann es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen

Meiner Meinung nach nicht ganz so stark wie Ex Hex geht es dieses Mal um ein anderes Pärchen im magischen Graves Glen - erneut mit viel Witz bepackt mögen sich die Protagonisten Gwyn und Wells zunächst aus diversen Gründen nicht, bis ein lovespell ein paar Geschehnisse ins Rollen bringt 🤭 eine niedliche Geschichte mit spannenden Elementen die sich gut nebenbei hören oder zwischendurch lesen lässt.
I just love her work. Erin sterling is one of a kind autumn cozy witch book writer. Her books always make me feel cozy.
Cute little ghostie read, obsessed with wells
Just like The Ex Hex, this was a fun and light read, with loads of small-town charm, steam and banter. It has a rivals/enemies to lovers trope and I liked their dynamic a little better than Vivi and Rhys I think because I felt they were more consistent in who they were. Gwyn is a kick-ass bisexual witch and I was a little disappointed that she follows such a traditional relationship path, except for the occsional mention of an ex she could just as well have been straight in this book, unlike in the first one. Just like in the first book the conflicts could have been much more refined in my opinion, both the romantical conflict as well as the mystery the two of them are trying to solve. It is all solved a little too easily and especially the solution for the magical trouble Gwyn finds herself in is plainly ridiculous. It's basically a deus ex machina moment and it made me roll my eyes soo hard when reading it. Definitely not a fan of that moment. Like I wrote in my review for The Ex Hex, this is a very typical romance novel plus witchy vibes and if you're looking for that, you'll probably like it. If you are hoping for a complex magical system or a whole other dimension of supernatural business, you won't find it here. Like, at all. The biggest plus for me in this book were the baby witches, who were fun and awesome and adorable, I wish their relationship and lessons with Gwyn would have been a bigger part of the story, so much could be going on there, but alas... So in general a sweet and enjoyable read with some points deducted for poor plotting and a rushed ending. 3,5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 for the cozy witchy vibes. Also, as a little sidenote about the hair colour situation: Was I the only one expecting a reveal in the end, where she turns her hair purple again and he has a grand "Oh, it's you, I've liked you all along" realisation? I was sorely disappointed that we didn't get that! Boo!

plot was better than the first one, still kinda meh, but they were definitely very hot.
