I loved this book. The world is so full of ideas and life it feels like you really are there. Amazing worldbuilding! A few qualms, although not enough for me to take away even just one star. =) - The word "shag" (I can't help but see Austin Powers) - The sentence structure was unnecessary complicated in several occasions that threw me off (double negations; along the lines of "she couldn't tell if he wouldn't do something") - The male protagonist Rhys was way too posessive for my taste. Actually the phrase "He needed/had to possess her" came up a few times. Sorry, nope. But as I said, these are still just minor things. I really enjoyed the book and the well-crafted story and Mina's character especially. Oh and by the way - this was my very first steampunk novel, ever! I'll definitely read the sequel. =)
