The Glass Magician (The Paper Magician, 2, Band 2)

Still love the magical universe but the romance part is getting a little too much in this installment for my taste.

So the story continues in pretty much the same manner. I even read the book until the end without realiying I had already finished it. The acknowledgement told me I was at the end. Same as with my review for the first book... SPOILERS AHEAD So Ceony brought back Emery and froze Lira in book 1. Of course it makes sense that Lira's friends would go after Ceony and everyone she loved. Emery tries to protect those he loves too, so he sends Ceony away to be safe. But instead of being safe, Ceony lands in the hands of Grath. Grath has figured a way to switch magic, and shows Ceony. So he switches from being a Gaffer to an Excisioner using Delilah. Delilah dies. Ceony also changes from being a Folder to a Gaffer, to save herself and Mg. Aviosky. She kills Grath, but also gets herself so injured. All the while Emery was trying to get Saraj, Lira's other friend. Thats the end.

Düsterer und mit mehr Action als Band 1, aber auch spannend zu lesen.
