While reading, I liked how the murders were connected and the insights I got as a reader into the different characters. I liked the suspense and tempo of the story moving along, though some interactions between DCI Erika Foster and the mysterious 'figure' seemed a bit unrealistic to me. All in all, a solid crime story.
