The Enchanted Mountain

The Messner Mountain Museum in Sigmundskron Castle in Bolzano - the “Enchanted Mountain”, as he calls it - is the centrepiece of Reinhold Messner’s mountain museums. Visitors can experience an insight into the world of the mountains on a tour of the castle and grounds, its temporary exhibitions and its six towers, which narrate the origins, the vastness and the conquests of mountains.
