There's just so much happening in this book. There's the fallout from Ronan's big reveal, Kavinskys insanity, the Welsh King adventure and some Cabeswater madness. Chainsaw is being adorable, Ronan is "borrowing" cars, Adam pulling himself up and out of poverty, Gansey just being Gansey and Noah obsessing over snow-globes. In general thinking "what a mood" whenever Adam is talking, constantly being tired of everyone except your four weird friends. I just love how Maggie Stiefvater describes her world and expresses the countless feelings of her characters. My appreciation for Gansey has grown considerably. His loyalty to Ronan even when he's acting like a complete jerk and his effortless back and forth with Blue. The kiss with Noah and Blue wrecked me. It hurt. The “So this is what I can’t have” and that she imagined kissing Gansey while kissing Noah and that's what made the kiss perfect. Damn.

I loved that the book revealed more about Roman secrets and his character in general, FINALLY we get proof that he has a crush on Adam

This was even better than the first one. I love this series so much. The characters, the story, the writing. It's beautiful and amazing and perfect and I can't wait to start the next one. I'm rarely reading book series back to back, even if I like them. I just get tired of the world and need something else inbetween and at some point forget about the series but this is probably my new favorite series and I've only read the first two books so far. It's just that good.
