He’s a ruthless tech tycoon, and I take calls from angry clients who can’t reset their passwords.
He lives in a London mansion with holiday homes worldwide, and I rent a room in a flat-share with my best friend and mice.
Our worlds couldn’t be farther apart.
Falling for him is not an option.
Eight years ago, I made the mistake of flirting with him only to be rejected…hard.
To this day, he won’t acknowledge me as anything more than his best friend’s silly little sister.
Which is fine by me because I can’t stand to be around that emotionless CEO.
Regardless of him being the hottest man I’ve ever met.
Now I find out he’s bought the company I work for, making him my boss’s boss’s boss.
And he wants to get rid of me.
Danny Walker is not a man to be messed with.
But perhaps there’s more behind his cold, detached stares than I thought. Stone-faced ruthless CEOs don’t fall for scatty girls like me.
Or do they?
Taming Mr. Walker is a standalone, full-length sizzling office enemies-to-lovers romance starring a brooding CEO and a feisty, sarcastic younger heroine.

I enjoyed it, but at the same time I'm kind of annoyed. The FMC was such a brat. No one talks like that to their boss. I swear, office romance heroines are always foul-mouthed little chaos queens just for the contrast, and I just can’t get on board. Seriously, who raised you? Why are you not even brushing your hair? I enjoyed the beginning even if they go from nothing to fucking every five pages. The buildup? Nonexistent. What really annoyed me was the miscommunication. She gets insecure every five seconds and at the end he mopes around being miserable, and THE MAN STILL DOESN’T CALL HER. I was stressed for them. And yet… I read it in one sitting. So there’s that.
Having a hard time rating this. The first half was really enjoyable and would be a 4 star rating. But then I somehow got bored and struggled with motivation to continue reading. Danny and Charlie were fun and exciting in their beginning phase. Charlie is not a super unique character but enjoyable nonetheless. And Danny is the usual hot CEO I love to read about. But for my taste they got together a tad too early and the story slacked a bit. Since they got together in a way quite fast, there wasn’t that much development for a while which lessened my excitement about the story. And the final ending was… meh. Overall an enjoyable read if you extracts some small aspects that bugged me, but those were just personal preferences. It’s a good written forbidden brothers best friend office romance with the usuals aspects that come along with it. Nothing out of the ordinary but that’s not a bad thing! If you are not too keen on a more slow burn development than this is for you. 3.5
