easy in between read, nothing special.
honestly I didn‘t really had a deeply connection to the characters, but I liked rake and his possession. the drama was bit over the top in my opinion. if you‘re looking for something to read in between your tbr, that book will do, but don‘t expect too much from it.
It was okay.
A couple spoilers ahead. I liked the characters but I've got a few issues with unhealthy codependency. If you end up in the hospital for dehydration and starvation because your not-boyfriend ends things with you, then you've got bigger problems. I don't think Egon was weak or pathetic or whatever he called himself, but he still should have gotten professional help. Instead they went back to their relationship where Rake takes care of everything. In itself that isn't a problem but I believe Egon should be able to be a functional human being on his own. Otherwise the book was alright and I enjoyed reading it.
