I wasn‘t feeling this one.
Look- I‘ve read more than one of Ashleys Books, and it often end up being a surprise if i‘ll the book or not. This one in particular is an easy in between read but it didn’t catch me emotionally. To be honest, i just didn‘t liked Mateo as a character, his cocky manner was sometimes over the top for my taste and i think that is something what sets me off. I liked Travis tho, but it felt like his stubborn way handling things was a never ending story. There were a lot of in between conversation and random fill ups, especially at the beginning that made me want to put this book behind. I just wasn‘t feeling it. The spice-level is around 2,9/5 🌶️. Nevertheless it’ll not be the last i‘ll read by Ashley, like i said- There are also books by her that I consumed like the air i need to live. So off to the next one!
