I absolutely loved Pucking Sweet. The evolving dynamic between Henrik and Teddy is what truly makes this book shine. Teddy is sunshine in human form, soft, hopeful, and wholeheartedly believing in love at first sight (specifically with one emotionally constipated Swedish hockey player). Henrik, on the other hand, is guarded and reserved outside his tight family circle, still deeply scarred by the death of his sister and the brutal custody battle for his niece. His grief shapes him, hardens him, but never fully closes him off. Watching Henrik slowly allow himself to feel, to trust, and eventually to act on his love for Teddy is incredibly satisfying. Once he stops fighting it, everything becomes sweeter, softer, more intentional. Their relationship feels earned, not rushed. They are such a tender couple, balancing grief with hope and responsibility with devotion. When Henrik finally chooses Teddy openly, it feels like victory, not just in love, but in healing.
