Sara, on the other hand, is a character that you cannot help but root for. She’s been dealt a tough hand in the past, and Brooks' determination to give her the happiness she deserves is heartwarming. The dynamic between Brooks and Sara is written beautifully, their transition from best friends to lovers is natural and compelling – just try not to fall in love, I dare you! The author does an excellent job of weaving romance with the excitement of the sport and found family, creating a delightful balance that's sure to captivate any reader. The chemistry between Brooks and Sara is palpable, their interactions filled with sweet, intense moments that will leave you wanting more.
