Thank you so much to Brit and WildFire Marketing Solutions for the advanced copy for review. All opinions are my own. Jocelyn is a single mom of two amazing kids. She lives next door to Jesse's friend. Jesse is a college "kid" and there's no potential there. Uh, yeah right. This book put me really deep in my feels. I was not expecting it at all, but it really did. I read to escape. I read to see the HEAs and feel those feelings. I don't read to feel sad (unless I'm in the mood for a good cry LOL), but this book sent me to my childhood so many times. Brit wrote Jocelyn perfectly. Her protectiveness is what every single mom should be. They're not always like that. I know she made her decisions because they're what she thought was best for the situations at the time. Jesse is the sunshine that Jocelyn needs. I wish all single moms would find their Jesse. I don't want to spoil it, but gah he's so amazing and I wish I grew up having a Jesse. My mom chose the Patrick over and over. J squared are the best! I felt so much love for those babies. I loved their bond and the comic relief that Jude provided was necessary. June is a fierce little nugget too. I loved seeing the whole Better Love crew in this and how they all just flowed together and that found family just shines. I can't wait to read more from Brit. Don't forget to sign up for her newsletter so you can get a copy of the extended epilogue. You won't want to miss out on it! ❤️
