I did read this book for school, having some other choices as well but not entirely sure, if this one was the right chance. In the book Intersex is a really nice important topic in my opinion, but in the text, the topic is presented really unimportant. Although Krissy needs to get in terms with her diagnosis, also needing to adapt to the change in school and privat live. Her social life completely falls down, and the only thing she changes is looking for new friends, not going to school anymore. What would this book mean to a person that really suffers from their diagnosis? Why is the solution of a problem, to run away from it. Looking for new friends is not the soultion. I feel like that nobody should be reading this book to not get the feeling of stupid thoughts and stupid solutions.
