While this book still got a decent rating because it was able to redeem itself in the second half, I found the MCs to be insufferable up until at least 40% in the book. It was clear from the beginning who the author wanted to be together and didn't bother to hide it. I felt sorry for Cyrus the entire book because he's a sweet and kind man and doesn't deserve this. Also what's the point of the magic system if you're pretty much going to ignore the entire book. Still going to read the next part when it comes out.
