The book gives glimpses behind the fassades of some Night School characters. Especially, to dive into Cimmeria by the time Isabelle, Allie's mom and Raj attended the school themselves as students was kind of completing the picture of the original series. I didn't want that story line to end, it definetly has the potential for a spin-off. I would have loved to read more about Cimmeria back then! Unexpectedly, also the paranormal version of Night School turned out to be very special and got me after some time. The paranormal story is both, similar to the original version and completely different and unique at once. I got curios after nearly each chapter how the story it kept would continue, which is a bit frustrating. But still it's pretty cool to get an insight on so many thoughts of cj around the Night School world!
