Never Have I Ever Gone Skinny Dipping

Mickey Boring thinks he embodies his name. A boring and shy librarian who spends time with books, and not with people. His biggest secret are the erotica novels he writes under a pen name in a coffee shop, and his crush on the barista in that coffee shop. Can he open up and live more? There was potential for a third-act crisis but somehow that got swept away which is a missed opportunity for communication and growth. Other than that it was a sweet novella, albeit predictable and somewhat bland.
