Mix aus Cluedo, Christie, Knives Out, Holmes und ein bisschen goofy Humor but make it sapphic

There's nothing wrong with a bit of murder every now and then. I just think Alexis Hall isn't for me. [b:Boyfriend Material|50225678|Boyfriend Material (London Calling, #1)|Alexis Hall|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1575987260l/50225678._SX50_.jpg|73590298] was a miss and this one was even worse. Which is disappointing since it was my first time reading a cozy mystery novel. And I really wanted to love it. My biggest issue was the fact that the two main characters sound exactly the same. I didn't know who's who even after I finished the novel. They're both so... bland. The narrative focused on the relationship drama (and I seriously didn't understand why they're together, there were no sparks...) and less on the mystery. I feel like the conversations of the mc's just went in circles. The side characters weren't better. I couldn't tell them apart either. And Ruby, a cheap charicature of a femme fatale, was a horrible choice. There were a lot of cringey scenes, one of them being a character who refers to themself as a "master criminal." I expected more.
