4.5 ⭐️ Sci-Fi meets Magic! „Minimum Wage Magic“ by Rachel Aaron follows the protagonists Opal, a woman who’s job it is to clean out abandoned property on the hunt for cash and magical items. With the help of her own magic powers and her magical art history degree she’s always on the hunt for treasure. Until she finds something unexpected that sets her on a journey through the city- crossing gangs, gods and dragons in the process. This was so much fun!!! I loved Opal as a character and her backstory. So many elements of this book felt fresh and interesting. I loved the worldbuilding and settings we got to see. The concepts of gods interacting with humans and the different forms of that were really intriguing. I wish there was even more worldbuilding but since this is a trilogy I’m sure this will be fleshed out in the next volumes. Moving on to the next book in the series in 3..2..1!
