After I loved Bohemian so much, I expected to nearly feel the same way about this book, and I actually did until at like 70% of the book my opinion kinda shifted,
because of a few things Gabe said, but I forgave him. The end felt a bit rushed too. But I love Josie a lot, I love that she stands up for herself. She's such a strong character, she's a Queen (I found it interesting to read a book with femdom for the first time too). And I love Lucia too, everyone should have a best friend like her, she's my absolute favourite character. It was so interesting to read Lucia and Calvins story from another perspective, I just love them together, they're soulmates. But apart from those few things I mentioned, but not gonna say because I don't want to spoil, I can't say I hated the story, overall I actually liked it, but it definitely gets a deduction for the few issues. And I still want to travel to Big Sur and now especially Pfeiffer Beach.
