Kingdom Fall: Underworld Kings

3.5 stars for Kingdom Fall (Underworld Kings) I really don't know what to say - again! LOL It was a little hard to get into the story at first, but after the first 70 pages it got interesting and the story hooked me.In the beginning, I liked the twists and turns in the plot and found both main I really don't know what to say - again! LOL. It was a little hard to get into the story at first, but after the first 70 pages, it got interesting, and the story hooked me. In the beginning, I liked the twists and turns in the plot and found both main characters likable. However, there were so many twists at the end that were unnecessary in my opinion and eventually really annoyed me ;( "Two hours ago I thought he was going to kill me. Now he's holding me like I'm the most precious thing in the world, ...." This sentence literally describes the last 100 pages—a crazy up and down between love, affection, distrust, and violence. Spicy, but a bit too much for my taste... seemed kind of unnatural (if you know what I mean). Did I still enjoy the read? Absolutely. It was easy to read, and the book was a classic page-turner. So 3.5 stars
