I liked a lot of parts of this book but I hate the way women are portrayed (in general in Murakamis booksbut especiallyin this one). The main character disgusts me a lot sometimes especially because he acts like he's selfaware to justify his creepy thoughts and fantasies. Small spoiler: He describes the breasts of 12 and 13 year old children multiple times and the author dedicated a whole page to a detailed rap scene (it was in a dream but still) I didn't hate the book but I wouldn't recommend it tbh.
