J.R.R. Tolkien 4-Book Boxed Set: The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings

A book that every fantasy fan must know. It's incredible how big the Tolkien world is and I am very much looking forward to reading the next books by him.

I think this is a good fantasy tale for children and adults. Even some odd parts (like the amount of characters and strange plot twists) did not make it less enjoyable.

Ich habe das Buch auf BookBeat als Hörbuch gehört und frage mich wirklich, warum ich das nicht schon viel früher gemacht habe. Es wurde von Andy Serkis gelesen und er hat das so so GUT gemacht, es war wirklich einfach nur fantastisch. Es hat sich für mich so angefühlt, als würde er mich mit auf Bilbo Beutlins Reise nehmen, als würde ich in diese magische Welt voller Hobbits, Elben, Zwerge und Zauberer hineingesogen werden und die Abenteuer nicht nur von außen beobachten, sondern miterleben. Die Geschichte des Buches kannte ich natürlich schon vorher, da ich die Filme bestimmt schon gefühlt 100 Mal gesehen habe. Aber es mir jetzt als Hörbuch anzuhören, war nochmal eine komplett andere Erfahrung und ich kann es wirklich jedem nur empfehlen.
