I liked the worldbuilding, but the MC's connection felt off here. I think the author wanted them to have playful banter, but it felt like the FMC was one sidedly angry at Jack, always mean to him while he just wanted to hang out with her. Weirdest thing was that she literally said he shouldn't make a big deal out of saving her life. Why is she not thankful? Also I'm not happy about her having 3 children at the end when it was mentioned throughout the book that she didn't want any. As someone who doesn't want kids, I prefer epilogues without them, but I can also enjoy a nice epilogue with MCs being happy with having kids - but if they don't want any during the story, it reminds me of the people who'll always say "Just wait, you'll change your mind later". Well, at least she had a reason for changing her mind, small favors.
