Just when Tony is about to add his pizzazz to an international eco-summit in Ireland, someone close to him forces him to question his role in making the world a more dangerous place with his high-tech weaponry. But Stark doesn’t have much time to reflect before an old enemy presents him with an even greater challenge: the assassination of all the eco-ministers, and Iron Man himself. Just how invincible Iron Man is when he is stripped of everything remains to be seen in this breathless adventure by the best-selling author of Artemis Fowl.

I was so excited for a book about Tony Stark, because he's one of my favourite Marvel characters. This book however did not capture Tony's essence, wit, humour and most of all: heart. It felt like I was reading about a completely different character and not the Tony I know from the comics and movies. The writing was all tell and no show with shoddy editing. The book was written in a way that didn't allow me to get any enjoyment out of it while reading. ----- Previous review: A Tony Stark YA novel? Yasssssss!
Why did I stop reading this book? Because it took too long to start the story. I abandoned it when it started talking about the details of how good Tony Stark's 3d printer was. I felt that was a waste of text and put the book down. Really that was the last straw. I was already bored with the book but details about a PRINTER!?!?!?!? Who in the world cares about that!
