Anfangs dachte ich mir :"typischer Aufbau solcher Geschichten",!ABER! mir wurde erst gegen Ende klar, dass die Geschichte viel tiefer geht als eine typische Hockey Romanze zwischen Nina und Rhode. Es geht um Freundschaft, Lebenswege und auch darum Lebensentscheidungen zutreffen. Alles in allem ein Buch mit Klischees, Romantik, Spice, etwas zähen Episoden aber auch tiefgründigere Handlungen als man denkt. Charaktere:🫂🫂🫂/5 Storytelling: 💬💬💬💬/5 Storyline: 📖📖📖/5 World Building: 🗺🗺/5 Spice:🔥🔥🔥/5
Thank you Love Notes PR and Meredith Trapp for the ARC for this book✨. I already y like the beginning of the book. There was this girl and probably tried to get him in to bed. A lot would have just went but he was like nope not with me. He already gave me the vibe: "I don’t really do casual hookups" which I liked so much. I have sone book characters in mine who would have went but Rhode was different. They both had amazing characters and I was really able to understand Nina with her anxiety (since I have it myself in crowded situations). They both had an amazing character growth which I love btw.’ Age gab is not really one of my favorite tropes but I think I like it more now
