I did not find any trigger warnings in the book. Nevertheless, I believe that some should have been included. Topics covered include: PTSD resulting from trauma (ex-soldier) panic attacks a child with cancer (off-page; currently in remission) lack of familial acceptance regarding sexuality mental health issues I liked the trope involving the horses and the interplay between the characters. At times, it moved me deeply. Personally, I felt the book could have been longer. I would rate the spice level at 2.5/5. There were explicit scenes, but not very many; however, given the themes of the story, this didn't bother me. They certainly knew how to kiss. Audiobook narrated by Nick J. Russo 👌
