Beschreibung

My late teenage years were an emotional train wreck, and lucky for me, they're all fully documented. Graffiti is my debut poetry collection written between ages sixteen and nineteen. When I need to tell people what it's about, I say it's a personal account of adolescence and maturation - which it is - but mostly, it's about life and death and love and change, because that's all I could think about during that time. It's also about moles. I self-published Graffiti in February of 2016 and since then, it has sold thousands of copies and was awarded as a Goodreads Choice Awards finalist in poetry.

For what this is, poems by a 19yo about being a young adult, this is a solid collection with some mediocre, some good and some great poems - I also very much appreciate that it's actually p o e t r y and not a normal sentence split up to make it look like it (*cough* Rupi Kaur *cough*)

Apparently I wanted to the book more than I actually did. Honestly I'm a such fan of her Youtube Channel and do love most of her poems. Somehow I can always relate to her words, however on paper they do lose it's power. yet I'm happy to have reordered her book back then, the cover is lovely and I do love that it's signed by her.
