I mean… magic, witches, demons? Count me in! Raven ist such a strong woman. And by strong I mean absolutely fierce, powerful and passionate! At first we find her in a situation where she is suppressed and humiliated. But as the story unfolds, so does Raven and her will, her power and her desire. It was amazing to see her strength, willpower and magic growing. And I freakin loved it, that she was so bossy around Silas! I mean… this hot ruler of the Shadowlands could do anything with me, I would be totally obedient in his presence. But not Raven, she is the embodiment of seduction and Silas is willingly submissive around her. Aside from the spicy moments, a lovestory and epic fight scenes between celestial beeings, we experience a story about growth and breaking the chains of oppression. This book is my new favorite spooky season read! I loved the gothic witchy vibes, the darkness, the tension and the fated mates trope! This book is empowering and absolutely incredible! Addy, I need more! More of Silas, more of Raven and more books from you!
