Ettore Ghibellino was born 1969 in Waiblingen. He is a lawyer with qualification to act as judge, Magister Juris (oxon.) and has a PhD in State and constitutional history. He grew up in Italy and Germany, studied in Tübingen, Belfast, Oxford, Speyer, Rome and Bayreuth. Since 2001 he lives as independent scholar in Weimar. After his spectacular double biography of Goethe and Duchess Anna Amalia from 2003 Ghibellino now presents its continuation.
