Another brilliant small-town romcom from Staci Hart! Friends With Benedicts had everything: humour, romance, the drama to keep you hooked. I had so much fun reading this book. Our protagonists had a long-standing summer romance. Whenever Presley would visit her cousins in Texas, she and Sebastian would end up together. For as long as summer lasts. Until he went into the Peace Corps, and each one went on with their lives. But then Presley is back in town, with a secret she's kept for the five years they've been apart. I absolutely enjoyed Presley and Sebastian's romance; both are really lovely, had great chemistry, and I loved the family dynamics they had. But I was as invested in the minor characters. There were so many charming characters in this small town. The whole small-town community vibe is what I love about this trope. I can't wait for more books to come. Fans of small-town romantic comedies will definitely love this.
