Tolkien has created a beautifully-crafted and incredibly well thought-out world so complex that it feels alive and real 📖🍃 The worldbuilding was next-level amazing, with countless different places, creatures and languages to explore - including detailed history and lore💍❤ What fascinated me the most in Middle-Earth (along with the interesting creatures such as elves and hobbits) were Tolkien's beautiful descriptions of landscape - I don't think I have ever read such stunning depictions of mountains, valleys and rivers before - and I could imagine every place so vividly and atmospherically as if I was travelling with the fellowship ⛰ I think my favourite places in Middle-Earth so far are Lothlórien, Rivendell and The Shire 🤭✨ I loved all the different interesting characters who went on the journey together, and my favourites must be Frodo, Sam, Gandalf and Aragorn! However I must admit that the plot moved quite slowly, so I wasn't always so hooked. I was also sometimes confused by the many names of places and people, which felt epic but were also really complicated 😅❤ Towards the end, the plot picked up more and there were many intriguing and exciting moments (for example when they were in the Mines of Moria). I'm really looking forward to reading The Two Towers and The Return of the King to find out how Frodo's quest to destroy the Ring continues 😍💍 Overall, I enjoyed The Fellowship of the Ring - it was beautifully written, with breathtaking worldbuilding, and loveable characters. A timeless book that should be digested, rather than devoured ❤🧝‍♀️ I was a little torn about what I should rate this book, but now I have decided on ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ (4.5) stars! My Bookstagram: @1booknoodle
