Ever After Always (Bergman Brothers, Band 3)

OMG I so love the Bergman Brothers series! This book had again so great topics, and nothing you have so often in other books! Romance with a married couple! Count me in. It was so refreshing to see how it goes 10 years after marriage, when the big gestures are over and the daily problems come. I still love Chloe Liese writing style, how she develops characters and the problems they have to face. It is so fun so see what happened to the couples from the former books, get a sneak peek to upcoming couples and just come back over and over again to this lovely family.

4 Sterne (= soooo gut) Aiden und Freya sind fast zehn Jahre verheiratet. In letzter Zeit stehen Arbeit, Stress und Zukunftsängste zwischen ihnen. Trennen oder zusammenraufen? Als die beiden gemeinsam mit Freyas Familie eine Woche nach Hawaii fliegen, kommt die ultimative Bewährungsprobe. - Ich liebe die Bergman Familie einfach SO. Gott sei Dank ist Band 4 auch schon angelegt. Es gibt genug Geschwister, dass die Reihe noch ewig weitergehen darf! - Die Wiederannäherung zwischen Aiden und Freya ist so schön seeehnsuchtvoll! Auch als Einzelfiguren sind sie toll, Aiden sogar noch interessanter als Freya. - Chloe Liese geht wie immer sehr behutsam mit mentaler Gesundheit um (Aiden lebt mit einer Angststörung). Außerdem geht es viel um Kommunikation und Intimität und wie man als langjähriges Paar daran arbeiten muss. Spannend! - Ich war überrascht, dass mir Band 3 am „wenigsten“ bisher aus der Reihe gefallen hat. Immer noch SEHR gut, aber ich war irgendwie zu sehr mit dem KOPF dabei als mit dem Herzen. - Und auch hier wie in den Bänden vorher: der Spannungsbogen ist irgendwie schräg. Der eigentliche Höhepunkt kommt relativ spät und löst sich auch zu schnell auf. - Trotzdem toll, die Autorin ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Und ich kann Axels und Rooneys Geschichte kaum erwarten, sie klingt schön slowburn-ig :)))

This book gave me all the feels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book is devastating and heartbreaking at times because it‘s real. It’s as real as it can get... and that‘s why it is also encouraging and uplifting. It builds you up after it tears you down. I absolutely don’t know how to find the words for what I am feeling for this book ... it’s one of these books that claw themselfs in your heart so you don’t forget them. Ever After Always is a story of struggle but also about love, forgiveness, healing and most importantly not giving up. ... and family, don’t forget family - I can’t wait for “with you forever“ !!!
