A lot of bla bla, but...

...Some good notes. You will like it if you like philosophical books. 1. Be Impeccable with Your Word Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean, avoid using words to speak against yourself or gossip about others. Words have immense power to create or destroy. > True 2. Don't Take Anything Personal Nothing others do is because of you. Their actions and words are a projection of their own reality. When you stop taking things personally, you become immune to needless suffering. >Do not agree with this, since that's complete narcissist perception and behavior. 3. Don't Make Assumptions Ask questions and communicate clearly instead of assuming you know what others think or mean. Most suffering comes from misunderstandings born out of assumptions. >True, assumptions come from what you experienced in the past mostly 4. Always Do Your Best Your best will vary from moment to moment, but simply doing your best, whatever that looks like right now, prevents self-judgment, regret, and guilt. > Yes. The underlying idea is that we live under a system of "domestication", beliefs and agreements we unconsciously accepted from society, family, and culture that limit us. The four agreements are meant to replace those old agreements with ones that create freedom rather than suffering. It's a shortbook, more wisdom text than self-help manual.
