Absolutely loved this. I haven't read any other books by Bréne yet, but I'm definitely going to now. This challenged me in my leadership, but also in my basic every day interactions with people. I have so many questions to go through in the next couple of month to fully comprehend what I can learn from this book. I would recommend it to everyone who has a desire to grow in their leadership and self. This is not a self-help feel good book, but rather a guide on how to cope with the hard truths in life. This is not the book for you if you just want to read some affirmations. Prepare to be dared.
Many books about leadership cover topics like imposter syndrome or the problem of acceptance, that you probably don't know a solution to a particular war. Still, this book and the author did it in a really interesting and I'd say honest and vulnerable way. There are some funny anecdotes included and one almost traumatizing though.
