Beschreibung

Josie just wants to write about love. ♥ They want her to live it.

Jane Austen never had to live through the humiliation of online dating. Of course, she also died a spinster. It was probably a relief.

For a single, curvy girl over 40, love is hard to find—and marriage is a myth. It's not like I'm looking for a knight in shining armor. This girl can take care of herself. But when you're a struggling writer stuck in a dead end retail job, online dating seems like a necessary evil. Still, I can spot the players and poseurs from a mile away, and my days of indulging assholes who make me feel bad about myself are over. If I can’t have my HEA, I will damn well write it for every girl who needs hope.

But, sometimes fate has a peculiar sense of humor—especially when she sends 3! sexy men with very modern ideas about love, lust, and dating directly into my path. How is a girl supposed to choose? First, there's Heath - the DILF veterinarian with a dadbod, who’s into loyalty and heaving petting. Then there’s his friend Mark - the local celebrity chef who knows how to spice things up in the kitchen. Did I mention Simon - the aging rockstar who’s lost his rhythm? He’s looking for a muse to help him escape his personal demons.

The bottom line—I’m tired of trying to make myself small to fit someone else's ideal of what's sexy and beautiful. But each one of these men makes me feel desirable and alive. Is it possible to find one man to fill all your needs? I’m not so certain anymore. Maybe it’s true - corsets really do need a quartet to thrive.

What would Jane do?

Corsets and Quartets is a standalone, medium-burn, unconventional romance meant for readers 18+, where sometimes the best relationships are the ones in which we don't choose to settle for one love.
