On the unforgiving planet of Dakkar, I did what all the humans in our village did: kept my head down, worked to provide for my family, and I certainly didn’t break any Dakkari laws to risk inciting the alien race’s merciless wrath. Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for my brother and one careless mistake brings a horde of the nomadic, barbarian Dakkari straight to our doorstep, led by their powerful horde king—a cold, ruthless, battle-scarred warrior demanding retribution.
In order to save my brother’s life, I do the unthinkable. I sell myself to the horde king as his war prize. I agree to warm his furs, to travel with his horde across the wild lands of Dakkar, and to never see my family again.
But as I struggle with my new reality, I discover that the surly, mysterious, dominant horde king never intended for me to be his concubine…
He wants me as his queen.

This was really enjoyable, I'm giving it 4 stars just because the story was a little predictable, all climax was a little bit obvious but otherwise I really like the plot. I've seen people say it's similar to the Golden Dynasty but I disagree, it's the same type of settings with the horde and the "Savage King takes bride" kind of trope but the characters are very different. It feels like calling very regency romance "the sape book", the settings being similar don't mean it's the same book. Anyway, I liked Luna, what I dislike a lot in heroines is making rash choices and I feel like Luna was pretty rationnal in her decision making. She resisted Arokan at first and then let herself be seduced. I liked Arokan, he was respectful yet commanding, we love that. The world building wasn't enough for me, I wish we knew more but I feel line a lot is to be discovered in the next books. I don't know if I'm picking up the sequel yet, we'll see.
