Alice im Hungerland

This book scared me. It was scary how far someone is willing to go, it was scary how blind people can be and how easy it is to lie to them. And it was scary how much influence the written word has on me. Even though I love food and consider myself to have a semi-healthy relationship with it, I found this book very triggering. I thought about how low i could get my weight before it becomes impossible to lose anymore in a healthy way. I caught myself staring at legs, legs, legs everywhere I go and inspecting my tummy more than before. It was a great book with big impact, but I'm glad I finished it. Now I can go back to thinking about what icecream machine i will buy.
