After Darkness Falls

Chloe and Levi Chloe is the daughter of a serial killer, and this kind of changes the way people see you. So at 18, she packs up and leaves and ends up hanging out with supernaturals. When she becomes the target of her father's victims' families, her boss helps her get into the Scottish university for supernatural, to get her away from danger. There she meets, owner of the land upon which the College is set, Levi, a natural born vampire, very powerful. And things don't look as they seem. Chloe was really interesting, it's not often we explore serial killers's family and how they can be affected by that. But on top of that, she was just a good character. The "plot twist" wasn't that surprising though. And Levi is great book boyfriend material, he was protective and his reasonning was judicious. I'm sad the next book isn't about them tho, it seems like there is some unfinished jusinesd there. I really liked the plot, the world builong was really good and made a lot of sense. There wasn't a point I stopped and wondered why this or that. I liked the supporting characters and I'll probably read the next book soon.
