Ein tolles Buch mit einer wichtigen Aufgabe: die Geschichte von Frauen (neu) schreiben! Ich mochte den Schreibstil und die Protagonistin, auch wenn es schade war, dass die anderen Charaktere etwas blass blieben - bei einer Autobiographie' aber wohl nicht zu vermeiden. Ich mochte die Einsichten, die sie als alte Frau gewinnt und den Rückblick auf ihr Leben. Da ich bisher noch kaum etwas über die Australische Geschichte wusste und gelesen habe, fand ich auch diese Infos spannend. Sehr zu empfehlen!
