Die Vordergrund Handlung dreht sich um ein junges Mädchen, welches für ein Schulprojekt anfängt selbst für einen alten, abgeschlossenen Fall zu ermitteln. In diesen Fall geht es um ein Mädchen, welches angeblich von ihrem Freund ermordet wurde was Pip jedoch nicht glaubt. Während sie ermittelt kommt sie und der kleine Bruder des angeblichen Mörders sich im Hintergrund näher. Ich finde dieses Buch nicht nur spannend, sondern auch in vielen Momenten romantisch.
