I will review the entire series, so beware of possible spoilers below. Now this series was a treat I didn’t expect! If I’d been 10 years younger (and thus, the target audience) I would have swallowed it up. As it is, I still enjoyed the series tremendously, although I will admit it is not without flaws. One of the main things I noticed was how… convenient some things were to Alex, the Valispath, leandra, Alex’s parents, for instance, or even her relationship with Kaiden - which I am definitely a fan of, even if I would have liked more development from Kaiden’s character. Which is another general thing, for some of the characters I would have loved to see some more impact from them (I’m looking at you Bear), even though I still thoroughly enjoyed them. That said, my criticism doesn’t take away the fact that I enjoyed the series, and loved spending time in Medora. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this portal fantasy to people
