This volume contains all of Dieter Simon’s studies on the legal history of Greece, Rome and the Byzantine Empire. It contains texts on judgements, legal transactions, notarial forms, public law and constitutional law. The editions of newly discovered legal texts have been reviewed and corrected. All contributions have been revised and updated. The comprehensive study of early Byzantine jurists has not yet been published.
